at this movie happening because one of Toriyama's editors is a Broly stan

Not sure how I feel about it. Brolly himself was never actually a good villain (he's pretty one-dimensional) and only the first Broly movie is any good IMO, but it seems like Oda will give him more of a story/personality so it's cool I guess. Plus it'll be fun to watch Vegeta stans get when we get a 2018 revamp of Vegeta's most bytchmade moment.

So yeah, Broly is going to be canon.

It's a revamp tho, so it won't exactly be the same version as the one from the old movies.

at the predictable upcoming movie where Goku going turns Super Cena on Broly and Freiza at the same damn time

Sorry but ain't nobody gonna die not even Goku for a short period. Oh Yes it's gonna be predictable, Goku is gonna clean house in Shounen fashion.
