Well in next weeks preview we did see topo kick what appeared to be jiren's leg . Toppo destroyed the ring and almost destroyed the others. Maybe Jiren feels like Toppo is too wreckless

Maybe Jiren is trying to even the fight a little bit, having a person in the match with hakai energy puts all the fighters at a severe disadvantage. Jiren and Toppo can roflstomp everybody right now if they wanted to.
Which means there is no way universe 7 can win it’s going to take some extremely creative writing to even have them stalemate. The only hope is Goku and Jiren at the end with Goku gaining ultra instinct to fight to a stalemate.

Jiren is using more power now than he was when fighting UI Goku and still has the upper hand fighting the two strongest Saiyans in history, at their strongest level to date, simultaneously. And he’s still not using even 50% power.

Only UI SSB Vegito or Gogeta can have a shot without it being a total ass-pull. Even then, it is a stretch based on the logic of what they’ve shown as it relates to Jiren’s power.

And that’s not even factoring in this nikka Toppo right now
