generally japanese will be better, but quality work is quality work, dismissing english outright is limiting to me
example: fma brotherhood dub is worlds away better then the japanese to me. I was looking up a clip a couple years ago on youtube and it was the sub and my legit reaction was
I barely beat that thing in the clutch myself. Sylvando was the last one alive and he was clearing status effects on the guest and eventually the guest started reviving and then erik finished it off.
The guest AI is too stupid to prioritize reviving over healing so you need sylvando or a wand users group heal to keep everyone out of half health for the guest to start reviving
I be almost washing this nikka but every time I make progress the spider will take like 3-4 turns in a row, killing everyone

Theres a lot of re used assets in the second half of the game. And its not just enemy types....its literally everything that gets reused. Lazy way to make the game longer, it has made me really lose interest. Ill still finish it, but Im not as excited about it as I was earlier in the games plot.

For anyone starting out...go broadsword build. Its fun, hits groups of enemies and has a defense stance, just like Sword and board. Work on building up that tree first, as its the most rewarding when you're talking about damage. Also the hero comes with a heal, so sword and shield isn't really needed except for boss battles, and even then, I barely switched. Dual swords works just as well, basically, skip S&B unless you want to make it hard on yourself. I found myself using Helicopter more than I thought I would. Most of enemies you encounter will come in big groups, so Helicopter, and Erik's power throw handled the aoe's.
Also keep Sylvando on all groups, he's a beast, comes with a group heal and dispell....pretty OP quite honestly.

Agreed, to be fair its using old English/Welsh dialogue and inflection...they do well. Also Cowboy Bebop and Golden Boy showed us a long time ago that English VA's can pull of some epic dubs with the proper direction. Naruto dropped the ball, Death Note slam dunked it.
