If Frieza is on the level of Beerus

then nothing Goku and Vegeta should've been able to do, short of fusing, should give them enough power to defeat Frieza

as been noted by spoilers though, that's not exactly how this plot goes

I haven't read the spoilers. But what i was saying was. We already know SSJ one wasn't strong enough to beat Billis at 50% of his strength. It was reported goku achieved this new form by training AFTER the events with Billis.
