I don't know on that one. I liked z better before super saiyan was a common thing. It was built up to be this legendary, once every few centuries event, and that added to the hype. It was so rare that on Namek, dudes weren't even sure if it even actually existed, so when Goku finally did it at the end, you were like
, the legend was true after all
It stops feeling legendary when every other character and their mother can go ssj.
Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta are enough imo. I don't even think Goten and kid Trunks should have been able to do it. (Future Trunks gets a pass since he's from an alternate timeline where everybody died, so SOMEBODY had to step up)
Plus, I didn't like how the saiyans got so powerful to the point that they made all the rest of the fighters like Piccolo, Tien, Krillin and 18 irrelevant. (Yamcha was always pretty garbage) Piccolo, Tien, Roshi, and Krillin were
in the first Dragonball. I'm glad that it's looking like we'll have some other characters besides the super saiyans getting some good action this time around.
I feel bad for Yamcha though... Even
Roshi is getting more shine than him from the look of things.
