does having a background story matter or no?

If you never played the other games probably not. I played half of Dragon Age Origins and all of Dragon Age 2 so I wanted to start Inquisition reflecting the choices I made. I know all the previous characters from the other games. I would play through Origins again but at 12:00 tomorrow the midnight launch for Inquisition happens so too late.

I doubt it. it's a brand new game that they probably won't have any trouble selling at full price

Yall should still do the Dragon Age Keep. If you don't wanna do every decision you can just push play and it lest you edit the major choices as it plays back a video that gets you up to speed on the plot of Origins and 2. It takes probably under 30 mins to do the video.

Oh alright, they did it like Mass Effect 3 on PS3? and you can make all the major decisions? this is on disc for Inquisition? Or I do it online?

Good thing about this is once you sign in they keep track of your decisions in Inquisition and for the next game you have an online record of what you did.

I didn't even get passed the tutorial phase of AC Unity and now this is coming out in less than 12 hours.... Guess Unity won't get play till next year.
