Go to almost to every hood in this country and tell a young black boy and black woman your a garbage man, manager at Walgreens, a barber, handyman, electrician, insurance agent and these motherfukkers would look at u and laugh and believe u not making money because Biggie said get a job at UPS or the nba or nfl nikka who being saying these same people hating me has to wake up every morning and have to deal with their regular day to day lives and jobs

Regular black men today and for the last 20/30 years has been seen as useless until these women get older and lonely and when these young black boys realized rappin and sports isn’t there for them..

I wouldnt put athletes in there but agree overall. Athletes just get paid an obscene amount of money. I know its relative but before 80/90s athletes werent making million dollar deals, when you watch old docs most athletes lived in upper middle class black neighborhoods. Back then athletes even had second jobs and such if you go back farther. They still had status but the salaries ballooned after, I definitely think it was game changer

The hood is the last line of defense against assimilation. What does building up suburbs do but reinforce white supremacy? Building up the hood does nothing either. Thats not ideal,but its a stop gap until we can convince more people to leave the country. Which is what Umar needs to focus on. Not building black schools within white supremacy.
