Dr Sleep is probably the best horror move I've ever seen. God damn that shyt was fire.

I've never enjoyed a scary movie this much. From beginning to the end, everything about that movie was fire. Abra took the crown as my favorite character in all of Stephen King movies. The confidence the lil girl had in her powers just worked so damn well with the overall vibe of the movie.

Rose the Hat was a naturally terrifying character, she killed that role. The scene in the movie theater when the young pusher chick finessed the pedo out of his wallet and cut a signature sign on his face, only to try that pusher shyt on Rose a few minutes later was a dope ass scene.

I read that they were working on a sequel, but they cancelled it because Dr Sleep didn't do well in theatres (didn't it drop around Covid?).


We need a part 2 to this shyt. Or maybe even a TV show based on Abra. Regardless, I want more of this story.

Rep incoming off the strength of your taste in movies. Still remember seeing it in theaters and having certain expectations after having seen The Shining but I was not ready in any way for what this movie bought. I just finished watching the director’s cut on prime.

Shoulda went triple. Masterpiece of a movie for how it sequelizes both the Shining movie and book.

Shining is a top 5 movie for me, but this is top 15 as well.

the acting was phenomenal; the plot; the soundtrack. the subs were knocking.


I can't front I had a hard time with the baseball kid scene. I almost had 2 excuse myself.

I didn't think the movie was scary, but it was definitely damn good.

The entire dream sequence is still one of the best dream scenes in a film.

Watching the little girl bounce Rose ass out her dream and the bytch flew ALL the way back to bounce off her winnebago was incredible.
