Nipsey Hussle didn't seem to think so & that nikka was very calculated & wouldn't attach his name to something that wasn't credible:jbhmm:
"What does Nipsey Hussle have to teach us about the biomedical sciences?"

That's barely one step up from, "What does Ja Rule have to say?", breh. :usure:

Frfr.

But to me it's not just us, but humans in general. You have people of all races being conned by people like this.
Exactly. There's some famous White actress who just spends all her time running a scam health site, and you know rich white ladies are her biggest clients.

No one ever scientifically proves that he was a fraud though but it has been proven that certain viruses can't survive in fully alkaline environments.
Breh, a "fully alkaline environment" is like pure bleach. Of course viruses can't survive that. But eating fruits and vegetables doesn't turn your blood into bleach.

Viruses can't survive in fully acidic environments either, so the argument really don't hold any weight at all.

This nikka really went for the "fuk da libs:mad:" Over some snake oil shyt. Duke is really bitter at science :mjlol:

Anti intellectualism really found a strong foothold here

I'm not defending Sebi :unimpressed:

I'm calling out posters on here who make it a habit to shyt on any black figure or movement that operates outside of established institutions or the mainstream.

Forget questioning the prevailing orthodoxy of Western medicine for a second, there's a total disregard for why some in the black community would distrust the medical establishment or seek out alternative figures like Sebi in the first place. This dynamic also applies to other walks of life like politics or education.

Consigning these black people or movements as anti-intellectual (Hotep, Militant...) is a particular past time of many self-styled black "liberals". Liberals, as in part of, or aligned with the professional and educated class.

Even if Sebi wasn't out here fukking up people's scalps and didn't have multiple cases against him he wouldn't have passed muster with many simply because he wasn't' a licensed professional. That seems like an obvious take if there ever was one.

This dumb m-fer^^^^^
There’s no such thing as nutritional and dietary supplements to boost your immune system and build up resistance. This has to be the most remedial comment that I’ve seen on here to date. There’s a reason why Stupid people are the perfect Darwin Award candidates. Natural foods and organic remedies dont have an intrinsic affect on your overall health that are beneficial to development. There’s a vast amount of medical publications and references that demonstrate this. You just choose to be dumb as shyt on purpose. go back to sticking your sausage fingers in a vat of potato chip grease and a slow toxic death. Garbage mentality - bacon back, clogged arteries, high cholesterol and future diabetes candidate. Talking about covid but mentally deficient - the irony. Oh wait - iron in blood doesn’t exist to you either. But you’ll stuff a handful of harmful chemical pills in to your fat mouth, at the first sign of health trouble. Idiots

Sebi might have been a fraud but this obviously just another browbeat TLR thread from the resident Coli liberals and skeptics who need to shyt on figures like Sebi to reinforce their consensus worldview.

Most of them are not scientists or doctors themselves but they worship at the altar of consensus on such matters, so even if Sebi had some methods that worked, his general disposition and lack of proper credentials would never go over well with them.

And for those of us who have been trained scientists?

I don't give a shyt what people's credentials are if they spit truth. But I'll clown any fools, in this thread or in real life, who just make shyt up.

You gotta speak truth in this world no matter what your motives. Say Dr. Sebi promotes a healthy diet but backs it up with a bunch of bullshyt claims. Next year someone comes along and promotes an all-red-meat diet and backs it up with the same bullshyt claims. What prevents fools who follow that shyt from bouncing from one fraudster to the next?

Promote healthy living and back it up with truth. That's all i ask.

Well.... surgery is phenomenal....... but practical medicine... not so much...it's a reason why the majority of western society are the most unhealthy compared to other global communities..... let's not pretend western medicine is about healing, as opposed to capitalism.... they can't coexist.....
The majority of western society:
Doesn't exercise regularly.
They DON'T eat as they should
THEY ARE NOT proactive in their health as
in they don't have regular doctor visits.

This is not the result of "Western medicine" being impractical.

It's an issue that's directly related to our idea of medicine as cure and not
a lifestyle.

Also it's prohibitively expensive to get medical treatment in America.
That's not a western medicine and it's usefulness problem, that's a CAPITALISM problem.

Sebi naysayers were definitely in the overwhelming minority last couple years.
Most people hadn’t heard about him until he died and alkaline-obsessed clowns damn near took a trip to Mecca to defend him. then you have popular morons like Griff, Nick Cannon, and John Salley trying time memorialize him.

Check the old Coli threads about him.
Lot of Sebi slander in this thread. The core of his message was a healthy, natural diet, which is extremely valuable advice. If you look at the list of things killing people, the majority of them are related to diet. Plus there are many people who have improved their health and their lives based on his teachings. I don't have enough info to definitively speak on his other issues.

Also, make sure ya'll keep this same energy for our current healthcare system. The fraud allegedly perpetuated by Sebi is nothing compared to our current system.
His message was “I can cure your disease with diet” which was a dangerous lie.

People have known about healthy eating for millennia. And critiques of the current medical-industrial complex are perfectly allowable, that doesn’t mean Sebi wasn’t a charlatan.
