Dr. King was becoming more militant before his death?

There are some people who believe Dr. King's message of unity and integration set the black community back and caused many of the issues we see today. If that is indeed the case then King might of realized this at the end of his life as the video below shows.

Sounds very different from the Dr. King we're use to, very Malcolm X ish. Did his changing views cause his untimely death? What's your opinion on this brehs?

From what I've read its his embrace of communism or communist leanings and his public speaking out against the vietnam war that signed his death certificate.
Hoover was not having it

You're probably right. After the communist revolution in Russia, America was scared to death of the possibilities that such an event could transpire here. Before he died, my grandfather said everyone (white folks) was communist crazy at that time. People would report each other on the slightest suspicion of communist leanings. He also said a lot of black men of power at the time were routinely under surveillance because of their liberal views which meant commie back then.

King never stood a chance when you think about it. :wow:

Don't think it was the communist stuff. It was that one anti-war speech..

Gave that beyond vietnam speech on April 4th 1967... a day after every newspaper in the country puts his ass on notice.
a year later on April 4th 1968... they kill him. :wow:

killed his brother and mother too

Back then if you were anti-war they branded you a commie which was a stigma that would be hard to erase whether it was true or not. King knew he wasn't going to survive the 60s. Many greats fell during the time.

:bryan: At the bold. Black people have infinity more opportunities after segregation than before.

That's why I think our problems are more self inflicted, cuz when we're organized, hungry and are led by actual leaders, we are a dangerous force, and this all cultivated under segregation, But I'll let ya'll tell it.

Civil rights movement wasn't some massive sole voiced movement.
SNCC and the southern movement weren't in line and were atagonistic towards NAACP. NoI wasn't rolling with NAACP and wasn't heavy in the south. The communist leaning Oakland Black Panthers were completely different socially and culturally than the Lowndes County Alabama Black Panthers. Black Panthers had real issues with CORE, which supported nixon.

Stop getting into this black inferiority BS, about blacks being the cause of white oppression.

As for the bolded, blacks had more opportunity with segregation. We had more employment, we had more black owned banks, businesses, and we were advancing educationally and professionally. Black rate of professional employment actually dropped after segregation mandates of the 60s

Now you have people like yourself who don't even realize that blacks were doing for ourselves and had opportunity pre 60s movement economically.
Now black intellegensia (typically white liberal puppets) mainly seek handouts and acceptance from whites.

Are you really trying to marginalize the civil rights movement just to make your point that we had inferior infrastructure, inferior opportunities, inferior healthcare, inferior schools..fukk out of here. Obama would have NEVER HAD the opportunity to become president under segregation. This is suppose to be the root, you spouting that hotep fake pro black shyt like that movement has any weight. Sukka nikkas stop getting played by these clowns :camby:
