i meant to rank this album in my review on page 74 of this thread. on a scale of 1 to 10; i give it a solid 5. there are some cool moments here and there but this album ain't even fukkin' the "chronic 2001" (i won't even dare bring up "the chronic" because we all know "compton" could never even begin to compare in anyway, shape, form or fashion to that iconic and monumental classic. like i said before, there are cool moments and all on "compton" but the album as a whole didn't really move me like that at all. maybe i'm just stuck in my ways and maybe i was still just anticipatin' a bit too much from a dr. dre album in 2015 (but then again, given his track record who wouldn't) but aside from maybe like randomly revisitin' a couple of songs here and there from "compton", i'm good with never hearin' this whole album again
