Just off one listen this good music. Nothing like Dre has ever really done. I'm not really sure about what I'm hearing and the correlation to Compton. Not really the Compton Sound i know.

Album is also missing that party music the west is known for. No real standouts I would play to get. Party jumping.

But it's only one listen and I haven't even digested it. It's good music. Just not what I wanted off first listen.


I actually agree with this post..... something I thought while listening as well. This no real smash on here.

Dre has had plenty of those over his career.....but just something that I found shocking that Compton doesn't have.

I wish he would've let Kendrick rap with Eminem on Medicine Men.

Game murdered it too. I agree with a previous poster who said this album was begging for 50. That would have been a nice touch.

And fukk Dre for saying he didn't put out Detox because it was whack. No way he put out Compton out of no where and it sounds this good but he been working on detox since Clinton was in office and it sucks. :what:

And all the little known talent really shined on this joint.
