Why isn't MC Ren on this album? Dre's trying to go full circle, touch on all eras with the movie, that sort of thing. So where's Ren?

My thoughts are that Ren either didn't want to or couldn't or his song just got cut. I don't see why Dre would cut Rens song but keep Hutch so I don't think that's it. Maybe he didn't want to :yeshrug: stuff I've heard Ren is staunch about being his own man and all that kind of stuff. His latest music hasn't been the best either.

King Mez is a Justus League castaway who made music with Khrysis.

Yeah.

I have the project with Khrysis and his album/project My Everlasting Zeal and I never thought he was anything special.

Not even as good as Add-2, who isn't anything special either.

Wonder what Dre saw/sees in him... His voice is different :yeshrug:

it's obviously not on the same level of Chronic and 2001 but I feel it's worthy of the Dre stamp of quality

absolutely loved the use of the sax on several tracks

favorite at the moment All in A Day's Work

from the new cats I believe only APakk really stood out

in my book very strong contender for album of the year...

for people like me who wished for a Nate Dogg ''anything'' on the album I would recommend listening to Warren G's new song Keep on Hustlin' (chorus is VINTAGE Nate Dogg)

I prefer Dre's delivery on The Chronic and 2001. That laidback casual shyt. He really only sounds like Dre on "Talking to My Diary"

Yeah, his 2001 delivery was perfect for him, around mid 2000's he changed his rapping style up and tried to become this serious MC wanting to get technical and shyt, shyt just sounds forced and borderline wack
