1/2 the beats sound like Drill/Trap beats
Preemo, Cardiak, and Bink did there thing on this album.
But this is not coming close to 2001, most of the rappers on here are forgettable.

Disclaimer: I'm only like 4 songs in...
I'm not a fan of Kendrick's so this album (@ 4 songs in) is tough to listen to.....I don't like Kendrick's flow when he does it and I like it even less when Dre does it...

Precise and cold hearted
Been bumping in the past couple days. Strange project in a sense. The very first track is weak and shouldn't have started off the album. I don't like the cube track either. The track with game is kind of annoying, I thought I liked it at first but that repetitive beat I don't like.
Snoop sounds nice, Jon Connor dropped couple dope verses. Dre rapping doesn't bother me but yeah at first I couldn't tell it was him. King mez dude is forgettable and Xzibit didn't get a big enough cameo but at least he got to eat.
Eminem I didn't like on that medicine man track. He sounds bored and uninspired.
Kendrick sounds good, not a huge fan of his but he came through.
Some of these tracks got too much going on, he went the concept route on a lot of em if not all of them but some of the interludes, outros are kind of annoying.
It's a solid project though. Better than most sit that drops these days.

its dre .. its an instant classic just off his name alone .. but .. its called compton .. we should've had vintage cube .. ren .. quik .. king tee .. throw in some kurupt .. daz .. doc .. and then some of these new cats here and there.
im kinda disappointed. maybe it will sound better with time. but so far for me the best track is the dre track. the one he kept simple. the one that was normal dre and not no weird high pitched voice .. man
