I didn't even hear about that one. Turning a white character black is nothing new though...I don't remember outrage over Nick Fury.
We talking about lower tier characters though. Dr Doom is arguably the greatest antagonist in Marvel. Change him into a female and I don't think thats gonna go over so well.

There was definitely outrage over Nick Fury. Then they kinda retconned it into the title Nick Fury just being a code name. Something like that.

Actually, I think a female Dr. Doom could be interesting, if it was done right. I really don't have a problem with it, I'd like to see more female villains in movies.

But it won't happen. Like somebody else said, the nerd outrage would be too much.

I agree. It could be interesting and they'd have to know what the hell they were doing (and thus far FOX has shown that they don't when it comes to the FF franchise as a whole) but if done right, it could work. I also want more female heroes and villains in general. I've been a huge advocate for that for awhile.

I agree about Galactus and Deadpool, but Ian McKellen is a pretty decent Magneto.
