Do we count DUMBO as apart of Downtown Brooklyn? If not then considering Downtown BK alone one of the greatest places on earth is
In 2025 is Downtown Brooklyn even better than Downtown Newark?
The Soul Spot is a good soul food restaurant though, but it's in a weird part of Downtown Brooklyn, it's on Atlantic Ave and its kind of far away (on foot) from where most Black people who frequent Downtown BK be at. Bed Stuy Fish Fry Livingston Street location line be damn near out the door during lunch time on weekdays
I wonder how Soul Spot stays in business with a nearby restaurant in a better location offering the same type of food. You would think the "Black People on lunch break" would be when they make most of their business. Those white people near the actual Soul Spot restaurant are health conscious AF and I cannot see them eating unhealthy soul food often enough to keep the restaurant open

Sort of like Flatbush Ave around Church Ave, Pitkin Ave, Graham Ave, etc. But I can totally see a tourist going to that specific part of BK and being like
