Now on an international tip, West Indians throw down. But I'm biased...lol.
It's BrothaZay breh. This gotta be an obvious troll...I'm a southern nicca by birth that has lived and spent time in every region, and it's not even close. If y'all niccas get excited over ceviche and crepes, have at it. I had a meal yesterday that woulda made the last supper look like the Ryan's buffet. #justsaying
This is a thread only for people who has lived in multiple regions, if you never left the south then
When it comes to women and cooking, west coast has the crown and its not even close. Down south females cant even BarBQ
Now I see why little scrappy posted that struggle meal on thanksgivin, thats actually the norm here
This thread is flawed because coming from a Southern family and having a Jamaican born Wife I really have no real favorites because...
If the right southern woman makes the perfect Grits, eggs and Pancakes for Breakfast or Baked/Fried/Broiled Chicken, w/ the Macaroni & Cheese(With the brown crusting on the top), Colalrd Greens and/or Cornbread on the side...I'm in Heaven..
But..
If my wife or the right West Indian woman makes the pefect Oxtail w/ Rice and Peas, Jerk Chicken or Escovitch Chicken...
Then....
Oxtail for the win...niccas don't know what they miss out on that West Indian cuisine. This thread is flawed because coming from a Southern family and having a Jamaican born Wife I really have no real favorites because...

When I was in ATL, found a spot in Alpharetta that made it so authentic I had to take my pops there for his Bday...WE eat good on the things that people sleep on. Goat, Curry, Sorrel, etc...we on that.Especially if they can make it with less fat and more meat on the oxtail... shyt can be GOAT.
