I'm thinking about selling off some of my weaker stocks or should I just hold on to them for the long haul? I bought alot of weed stock late last year thinking they would bounce back this year. Also have a decent amount of shares in NIO and beyond meat. The weed stocks I'm in negative right now. NIO and beyond meat I'm still up a bit but dropping fast. I'm worried that the market just gonna worst before it gets better. I'm holding onto Microsoft, Disney, Tesla, and luckin coffee. I think those will be fine in the long run.

My weakest stocks are F and XOM and I plan on holding onto both probably even if the dividend gets cut. I'm still buying a share of Ford here and there till I get to 150 shares (From 112 now) but once I get there I'm finished buying.

I'm pretty much finished selling stocks short term. If I buy something I want to hold it at least 5 years from here on out. I plan on riding this market turbulence out and averaging down on my core positions as it happens.

I sold out of all my weed stocks when they were pretty high because they were overvalued and until weed is legal in the US who knows how that market plays out? Beyond that who knows which of those companies will last long enough to make it to legal weed in the US?

Ok heres a question: Gamestop as of right now is $3.50. That is so low that even if it went down to $1 it wouldn't really matter. They have a high dividend payout, would you guys recommend buying a few shares like 10 or 20, just for the payout?

lol no. don't buy into gamestop until they have a good business model that'll help them grow. your money will be better spent elsewhere.

Ya it's low but I wouldn't there business model is dying fast. Most people don't care for physical disc no more. Read that they were gonna reinvent themselves by being a place were u can play games at but no ones paying for that when u can just buy your own system and play at home. If I was u just wait on the market it only going to continue to crash more. You can probably find a more stable company at a bargain.

You have to find the bottom of the bear's stomach when it's done eating, right now most positions will continue to decline until the general sentiment is that the Virus is under control and businesses can function normally..... personally I'd wait for any prospects to hit some higher highs and wait for a retracement to begin buying positions.

:mjlol: nikkas in here shook to death and want to back out, this is the time y'all are supposed to be jumping in:mjtf:..
Not at all shook, great time to jump in NOW or later, but for those that have been watching the stocks freefall 30-45% that's that ish.

But for those on the outside, now is the time to buy stocks that are hitting 52-week lows (and there are plenty)
