Makers of Humira. The most profitable drug in the world. It's for arthritis. Patent protection expires in 2023 and it's 60% of their total revenue. They're buying Allergan the makers of botox. Abbvie stock fell over $10 a share on that news but has somewhat recovered since then. They have about a 6% dividend but it's a risky stock. All time highs were in the low $100s but now sits at $72.What's Abbvie???
You must have just started investing. Most of the stuff I bought even back in January or February is up like 15-25%. My newer positions are lower. My cost basis for everything in my portfolio is in the red. Forever, I expected that since all of them are long term holds.
Not new to investing but before this year I haven't bought stocks in years. Just concentrating on fully maximizing my Roth IRA and increasing my 401k contribution. Now that I've done that I'm back to individual stocks. You must have just started investing. Most of the stuff I bought even back in January or February is up like 15-25%. I’m negative on Abbvie and Verizon. I bought Verizon at all time highs and have been averaging down. I bought Abbvie at the 52 week low before it crashed last week. I’m barely positive on Nike and Bank of America both are under 1.5%. I just bought United Technologies on Thursday so it’s up 2%. Everything else is up 9% or more.
careful with ANY OTC/Pinksheet stocksCoworkers have gotten me into the penny stock game.
They've been hyping $TTCM for awhile now and it's starting to move with the official launch of their app.
Hope this pays off.
Which picks and why?Great time to snatch up some marijuana stocks for the low.
Which picks and why?
Got you. I've been shook for the last two months ..Not sure what it is this week but about a week or so ago a company called Canntrust (CTST) failed an inspection which started a domino effect for no real reason. Pretty much every weed company dropped.
