You really gotta pay to drive on the freeway? :pachaha:

You gotta pay to use a highway in Tx? :dahell:

Why do they have toll roads in Texas? In Illinois, the tolls are for upkeep because streets breakdown due to ice and snow. What's the reason for them in Texas?

no state tax

Yup. We covered this in another thread. Texas brags about no income tax, but the actual tax burden on middle-class citizens is higher than California, they just hide it all through tolls and fees and shyt.

It's cheaper for the ultra-rich, but everyone else gets screwed.

Hoola hoops to justify your shytty posting. Your own articles basically say its a case to case basis (someone has to use all of texas amenities while not using most of Californias amenities).

They even go on to say, for median family incomes, California is still worse on your income due to higher costs of everything

So while texas has “higher taxes” (by 0.4% and only if you are in a household of 3+ etc etc etc). Youre still more significantly fukked on a median family income in California.

I truly hate you

Of course it's a "case by case basis", I pointed out from the beginning that some people pay more in Cali. But the majority pay more in Texas, especially if you're not wealthy.

And yes, California has higher cost of living, no one has denied that. But Texas has higher taxes.

And so long as we're listing irrelevant shyt that ain't taxes, I'll also point out that Texas has a far worse health care system, worse environmental protections, worse air quality rules, higher crime rates, worse higher education, and far less tech innovation. So keep bragging about that low cost of living. Why don't you move there if you like it so much better?

Right-wing meathead white boy constantly bytching about California but won't leave. :mjlol:

Also, it's hilarious that @itsyoung!! has partially admitted defeat and is just deflecting now. The first two times we had this discussion, he refused to admit what a "median" was. :snoop:

The study in that link says that there's 38 states with higher effective tax rates than California for the median taxpayer, though they shift to slightly above average when cost of living is factored in. You really never read jack shyt, do you?

This is the third time you've lied in the thread, and just I predicted, you know literally nothing about anything you talk about and you're incapable of admitting you're wrong.

Using median for middle class is fukking retarded and you know that because the top 10% and the bottom 20% skew the numbers.

You really a stupid bytch with democrat dikk so far down your throat you are literally arguing false points to show California of all states doesnt have bad taxes.

You want to use median taxed income because it favors your argument because some families in bum fukk Death Valley or Bakersfield making $15k a year lower the # significantly. But youre ignoring the bulk of California live in the bay area and la county, and those are the people getting taxed heavy. bytch mafukka

Median is ONLY the people in the exact middle, it isn't impacted by the top or the bottom at all. That is WHY you use median, dumbass.

This doesnt apply to income taxes you stupid bytch

:dahell:

"Median" has a strict mathematical definition, it always means the same thing no matter what you apply it to.

You keep digging your hole deeper and deeper.

Also taxes dont stop at income tax.

Of course not, which is why that analysis is TOTAL TAX BURDEN, not just income tax. You didn't read it at all, did you?

This is what happens when you spent your teenage years taking supplements instead of math classes.

Nah, that shyt was hilarious.

She tried to hide being on welfare behind all that other shyt. :russ:

If you make over $276 a month, you won't get Welfare or Food stamps?

I like that policy:ehh:

We have several multinational corporations that you use everyday whose business model is solely dependent on US tax payers subsidizing their employees. You want black kids starving? What kinda heathens are you?

Breh living in Mass in the beginning I hated the state tax but realized that shyt barely affected me negativly

- public transit
- renters rights, none of that pay by the 3rd and +75$ daily charge bs
- workers rights

Hell you even get money back from the state when there’s a surplus. Texas would never do that, no state tax is gyp to the middle class.

We pay hella taxes, state, local, property, etc, but its worth it. When we move, its probably gon be north- same tax structure- and we're fine with it. Broke states lead to overall societal dustiness: people making crazy decisions, untreated medical issues, hungry kids. We straight on that.

I don't know how anyone in America can brag about their state being better in anything. The whole country is literally behind in almost every metric that means anything to the average person but you still have these silly state battles. :mjlol:

California is a homeless wasteland where even low six figure tech bros are being priced out 70 miles from the city. New York is an urban hellscape of rampant mental illness and bedroom sized apartments renting for 2k or more. Not to mention all of the COVID deaths there due to incompetence and purposely overloading hospitals in "certain" neighborhoods. In Illinois you have Chicago, enough said.

By any measure public transportation across the country is HORRIBLE. Healthcare is HORRIBLE. Education is HORRIBLE. You can see the last one just by posting here everyday. Also there are toll roads in almost every state. It's the easiest and quickest way to fund new highway projects. I hate them but the Feds aren't coming off that highway money like this is the 50s. Also, the nerve of people on the east coast talking about Texas tolls. That whole Hell's Triangle (PA/NY/NJ) is choked with tolls. And it's FILTHY. In places like California the immense homeless population has caused some areas to look like post apocalyptic wastelands but in the east the shyt is just shytty looking and bummy naturally. It looks third world in a lot of those areas. Rampant dumping of trash on occupied residential streets.

In many ways America is like Special Education compared to the rest of the world. No one applauds the "smartest" kid in special education, they all just assume they are various levels of stupid and feel sorry for them. When I see people showing pride in their states like this I say it's no different than being a flag waver. The stench of America is saturated into every square inch of this country.
