Campbell refused to enter the game in Thursday's 12-6 loss to the Rams, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

Campbell reportedly said that he didn't want to play during the third quarter and did not retake the field for the rest of the game. Coach Kyle Shanahan was non-commital after the contest regarding Campbell's future with the team, though a one-game suspension -- if not something more severe -- seems possible.

Kyle is an above average coach, he isn’t an elite coach. The qb analogy does not work here because the Ravens have never had been as stacked as the 49ers and blown double digit fourth quarter leads in big games like Kyle has

I can't even be mad about this season, everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Reminds me so much of the Eagles season last year. At this point just play hard and keep people healthy and reload for next year. On a side note, the defense looked good today with Huf being back these past 2 weeks. Definitely address the line, and Purdy made an awful decision on that pick. I saw what he was trying to do but that's also a drawback of an anticipatory thrower. When you take a chance like that, you gotta know for sure what route the WR is gonna run if he has an option route. He thought Jennings was gonna keep going and I think Jennings was either gonna break in or settle in the zone or thought the ball was going elsewhere.

I really don't pay attention to the criticism of Purdy. He's a baller. Stafford looked like ass and he gets what? 50 mil a year?

The INT was definitely on Purdy. But lets not act like the play calling was superb. Once again it shouldn't have come down to him being in that situation. Rams aren't a great team. Even with the injuries the Niners should have smacked them in the mouth. Kyle is a fukking hack.
