That point is kinda moot right now because we no longer have a beast of a squad, shyt we now have really big holes in both personnel and coaching. So at the end of the day the question is if we want Kyle to lead the rebuild or not.
I know next year is still the last year to really contend but who the fukk knows how all these injuries will play out, a lot of playmakers getting a year older and/or coming back from big injuries is a huge unknown when it comes to production. We already seeing what's happening to Deebo, who actually had a full training camp and was supposed to have a big year so he could start putting pressure for an extension or at least make other teams interested in him, and he's just washed
My argument the last two years is that you don't need an elite HC to win a ring when you have the roster we've had for the past 5 years. A *good* HC gets the job done with the type of players we have. We've seen it in plenty of other SB winners that didn't have Beli or Reid/Mahomes.
