Who would y'all say is the best coach in football? Andy Reid? Funny because he had a myriad of issues during his playoff career before KC landed Pat Mahomes but let's say he's currently the best coach as people tend to be given that title with rings..
What's his record with this team with all the injuries? Is it better than 5-7? Maybe... Would they be a contender? Hell no.
No CMC, Mason, Aiyuk, Greenlaw, Huf, Lenoir, Bosa, Trent, etc.. for several weeks and now many of them missing the rest of the year.
I know some of y'all think Kyle should be gone but he's 100% going to be granted the injury excuse so it's not even worth discussing

He actually did us a favor. Without him and Moody losing two games for us we’d be right in the mix and tryna make a run. If we lose to Chicago, and I think we do, I think we start waving the white flag and putting more guys on IR.
Also, I’m marking the day Sorenson is fired on the calendar and celebrating it every year.

the numbers do tell some things, but not all things
like that 16 game sample don’t tell how his 13 INTs only came in 6 or 7 games…
and half (or maybe a little more than half) were them pop up INTs where the WRs just didn’t make the catch (butterfingers) and the ball was popped up. (There was an INT I clearly remember in the thread cats being like that’s on Deebo)
Not many are them Eli Manning/Cutler type INTs where it was a bad throw going straight to a defender.
We literally have guys out there in their last 16 games have thrown INTS in like 9 or MORE games (Geno/Kirk)
The TD number could definitely be higher, had many guys caught some of the TD passes thrown (cuz now we pretending no one’s dropped any when many of us at the beginning of the year was angry with BA dropping some, and that’s just 1 example) or TDs being called back from bad Offensive penalties (mad holding)
The losses, though he’s had a few bad game that every QB has bad games in a season. Many of them where games where the defense or special teams played much worse and the loss was more on them than him. (Ala Purdy can’t miss FG kicks he don’t kick)

again peeps trynna spin shyt with me like I’m trynna overly stan Purdy. This ain’t exactly JimmyG level yet. But I’m calling out BS and just pointing out relevant reality and nuances.
To meet the detractors in the middle and if only wanna say Purdy is the problem then fine….. I’ll admit that Purdy is the problem. He‘s the problem after;
- the injuries/guys not being out there
- Terrible special teams
- Terrible playcalling and leadership from the coaches
- Terrible play in the trenches
- Guys on the field not producing or doing the thing they’ve been graciouslay paid to do at key times (catch balls or fumble)
- Terrible discipline (back breaking penalties that’s erased TDs or big play 40+ play drives)
all that….. and a few more problems that I ain’t even mentioned on the long list to try to keep this short and then yea, Purdy’s the problem
his contract will officially break this team sadly.
Deebo and George numbers can be voided in the 26 season, they are 100% gone.
Their cap hits next year are too large so next season is probably the last for them.
There has to be a way to keep Kittle.
