I wonder if Ji'ayir Brown is a lost cause or if he can be coached up with a better staff. Dude is hit or miss every game, usually with more misses than hits.

:unimpressed: I'm ready for CMC to snap his achilles in the snow in a blowout of a loss, playing 90% of snaps again

:manny: guess pcl is better but you could see it coming from a mike away

@Rekkapryde I’m vindicated.:gladbron:

last night you said it was ”my fault”

But our President has come forward to take full responsibility and even provided receipts of his transgressions:leon:

I’m innocent of all charges:blessed:

CMC is done.

They paid him but he needs to be cut or traded. Dude is done. Kyle ran him into the ground. He’ll never be the same.

Basically did what his dad did to his RB’s.
:childplease: he'll be back to normal next year, he looked like the old CMC last night before he went out with the injury

This team isn't in as much trouble as some of y'all seem to think. We're taking a necessary breather year, we'll be back next year.

QB: Purdy
WR: Aiyuk, Jennings, Pearsall
RB: CMC, Mason
TE: Kittle
FB: Juice-check
LT: Trent Williams
LG: ?
C: ?
RG: Puni
RT: ?

DE: ?
DT: Hargrave
DT: Collins
DE: Bosa
LB: Greenlaw
LB: Warner
LB: ?
CB: Demo
S: Hufanga/Brown
S: Mustafa
CB: ?

All the players mentioned above are good enough to make a deep playoff run with. We still have a very good roster, we just need to rebuild the OL and get a good DC. We should be drafting in blue chip pick range, so we can fill the question marks with a Day 1 impact player in round 1, a high quality FA signing, and then rounds 2-4 and a couple depth FA signings. Not worried.

I feel like this was the same argument for this season breh :heh:

The issues come from lacking depth (due to our cap and bad draft classes in 2022 and 2023). We are very thin in almost every position so even normal injury cycles can fukk this team up. We need an incredible 2025 draft were we can get legit 3 or 4 starters out of it so they can add to the good 2024 class.

OL is probably a 2 year project at this point. It's the cost of not doing shyt about it for so long.

This season would have gone very differently is CMC, Aiyuk and Greenlaw weren't injured. If 3 of the names in my post are also injured for most of the season then I would expect another subpar year.

I don't think it's a lack of depth issue, we've seen depth produce incredibly well at RB (Mason) and WR (Jennings). The NFL is an incredibly competitive league, you can't just find elite production sitting on the bench at all positions. We're only thin at OL (not even thin, just supbar quality at the starting positions) and LB. I agree we need a very solid 2025 draft, and it's a 2 year project to get an elite OL, but we don't need an elite OL, just a solidly good one. We're one blue chip draft pick from having a better OL than we did last year when we went to OT in the Super Bowl.
