I feel like every fukking thing that could have went wrong for the boy did so last night. It capped off a truly abysmal series for him. What I also saw was his confidence wavered in the fourth. He wasn’t shooting nor driving with conviction...it was as if he felt that was just expected of him. Compare that to how lightning quick he looked in the the 4th Of game four when he got things rolling.

Utah got every possible break you could ask for to extend a series on the road

Houston’s best players played awful
Houston turned it over
Houston missed free throws
Utah’s defensive strategy worked
Royce, Joe, Ricky & Rudy showed up

Even if Mitch didn’t have it going then look for your teammates, don’t turn the ball over and don’t foul when the game is on the line and the other team is in the bonus

Ironically he fought through a rough beginning of the season to end with better numbers than his rookie year and put Utah smack dab in the playoff race. Mitch has top 10 in the league potential. Boi has to spend his summer in the film room & gym

50 wins in the West. Lead his team a lot better than Lebron did his squad in the West. You put Lebron on that team and he would quit on them or give up on them cuz their wasn’t no other star or true second option.

Mitchell second best player is Gobert. His third best is Rubio.
what does LeBron have to do with Mitchell?:dahell:

Beside 22 year old Bron took his team to the finals

He’ll be fine..he can fail the next 2 playoffs after what he did to russ and pg last year.
Lowest expectations "star" in the entire league .... disgusting :russ:

He wasn’t in a slump the second half of the season though. He was averaging a solid 26-27ppg from midway to the end.
On pretty efficient splits too. He basically led the Jazz to the playoffs through the second half of this season, and it's only his second year. Writing him off now is ridiculous to say the least.

Dude needs to work on that jumper. :mjnotimpressed:
More like he needs a floater or something similar. His shooting from 10 feet out was pretty damn good. From 3-10 feet he shot 34% in the regular season. Vs the Rockets it was 14% and those were 24% of the shots he took. :scust:

For comparison, Wade was usually around 47% in that space.
