Secondly, they locked away all the gangs leaders. When I was growing up, you could not just shoot someone unless there was some type of gang war going on. You had to talk to, who was your leader to green light any actions. Now, since there is no leadership these kids look to each other for "advice", there is no order, no one in charge, they off that syrup and they have no regard for life.

The murder total last year was the highest its been in 20 years, and it was still not as high as the average of the 90s. The whole OGs thing is a myth

Policing isnt going to fix the issue honestly. Its very difficult to stop a murder before the fact the police usually dont come in until after. This is a community issue in chicago people in that city are clearly hopeless.
