They need to chill. Tjay need to be happy he survived and stop trying to bring that energy back. Don Q should’ve left this alone too because there’s no winner when it’s past a battle rap.

oh the similarities are there and I always felt he fav the era of the lox and cam etc but he didn't want to spit on traditional beats or cater to that lane... said so himself and it hurt him.

now he has lost all his momentum.

In his defense that lane didn’t exactly have potential either. He was a younger nikka trying to make noise and that doesn’t fit his generation He made a business decision and it hasn’t panned out

This the NYC that out of state nikkas love y’all don’t realize it just like lotta of LA rappers don’t realize lot of out of state nikkas want that west coast funk/mob shyt..when rap was regional people enjoyed it more because of the variety of different styles

Hear you. My problem with Q is he was such a traditional spitter...then dropped these dumbed down southern sounding duds for what

It's a complicated situation and that's putting it nicely...it's CNN level of gang politics that can change at any moment

I'm out of touch..I've been in the burbs for a minute...when I come back its to see family I don't know none of that.

Either way we could make more bread and prosper united....but NY never been about that....MFers hate on the other side of the street
This kid sounds like a carbon copy of A boogie anyway idk the politics...I just wanna see the X shine...I never saw it in my era....I was super young when gunz and Tariq dropped...French had to blow in MFing CT and shyt.and he was beefing with everyone...its a shame

this is dope....but dissapointing....the bronx will NEVER blow because of that crab in the barrel shyt. If dudes came together...or could just stay out of drama......maaan...

This doesn't even make sense.

A Boogie and T Jay already blew up and they never got along. They don't have to take the entire borough with them.

Those Cory gunz/shellz/drag-on days were very dark...I def understand lol

Yeah unfortunately the gang stuff is too intricate for alot of these kids to work together..

A boogie got enough bread to move his family down south...he has a good following and a respectable career. He not gonna starve. When I said blow up I'm talking major. Transcend hip-hop heads like that
they don't have to take the whole borough..man this semantics you know what I'm saying

The Bronx already blew. Cardi, A boogie, French, Lil Tjay are major in the mainstream. Not everyone is gonna be transcendent there’s only a handful of those maybe less nowadays (Baby and Durk the biggest rn can argue they’re not “transcendent”). Plus the Bronx has one of the major underground scenes right now. There’s never been this many rappers in the X doing numbers. I feel like on here y’all struggle to put the new gen into perspective and the history that’s being made today.

A boogie already got two mansions in Jersey. He has all Plat albums, many RIAA certified songs probably can’t name 10 rappers from his era with more. At one point was featured on almost everyone in the industry album. Had a major influence fashion wise and sonically.
