The difference is that 2013 was rolling and getting better as the season went on while this team got worse (AD’s injury obviously didn’t help). This Lakers team is a flat out bad team that has shown no signs of hope all year really.

Do people not understand what the word “similar” means? :gucci:

So 2013 was slightly better, so what? They didn’t win shyt. :skip:

Disagreed with other stuff too but just want to point out this misuse of stats.

You said those shooting #'s like they're bad when they're actually above-average for a PG who creates his own shot, they only look a little off because Lowry takes more 3pt than 2pt.

Lowry shoots 53% on 2pt and 37% on 3pt, his eFG% is 55%. Those #'s are great for a guy who creates the majority of his shots (over 2/3 of his threes are unassisted). For comparison, Tyler Herro's eFG% is 52% and Jimmy Butler's is 49%. Dennis Schroeder is career 47% eFG, he was at 48% for the Lakers which is a mile behind Lowry. Lowry even beats out Chris Paul, who has an eFG% of 54% this year on similar volume.

A veteran point guard with title experience who can give you an efficient 13 and 8 with tough defense while spreading the floor and creating his own shot is a HUGE asset. He addresses three Lakers needs simultaneously - he's a shooter, a perimeter defender, and the 2nd creator they were missing.

All that team needs to win a title is a 3-and-D swingman and another rim protecting big. And you would have had Kuzma+Harrell+THT+picks as assets to trade for them. Think of how nice a look picking up Covington during the Blazers fire sale would have been.
I still don't like the trade-off. Lowry's solid but not a game changer at this age worth giving up depth. In a vacuum, I'd still rather have KCP and Schroder (off the bench) than Lowry.

The best formula in LA has been depth around LeBron. That's kept his minutes down and enough versatility to compete with guys out.

Chris Haynes said LeBron is out Thursday, AD can come back Friday or Sunday, Nunn is expected to miss the season (lol)

lakers medical staff is a joke. Lonzo would have been healthy right now if the lakers staff didn't ruin him. he's still feeling the lingering effects. jeanie's thot ass cutting corners. she's the WOAT owner.

Yall bringing Nunn back next season?

Or do yall think his career over?

No trolling
Dont think his career is over but Lakers definitely dont want him at that price point. If hes taking a minimum, I am sure both sides will have interest because he's still solid when healthy.
