Whether we "be rayciss" or not has nothing to do with this incident. Are all the Africans who are killing each in the motherland racist also? Since we're all nothing but black folks, just think of us as like two different warring African nations. Nah forget it, I can't expect a people without a country to understand the concept of national pride.

What about black on black crime?

The only want to solve this is for the Haitian government to cut off ties with DR and start allowing European countries tax subsidies to live there and build businesses there, maybe even fly them in for free like they did with Cuba and Brazil. :sas1: Once the country's plight has "lightened up" a bit :mjpls:DR will have no problems with Haiti, but by then Haiti can :umad: "Too Late."

Most Dominicans don't consider themselves black so try again. :umad:

KKK-DR-600x337.jpg

Residents of the Dominican Republic dressed as KKK members in 2014 during the Dominican Carnival.

The Dominican Republic's Ministry of Culture subsequently ratified those individuals' collective action by stating: "Every group is free to choose their themes, whether using elements of the Dominican identity or universal culture in their costumes."

:skip: their hands are black

It's weird cause your right. I have lightskin Haitian friends that don't view themselves as "Black" either, they say, "I'm Haitian". Like "Haitian" or "Dominican" is a color. They may not be Culturally Black, I get that. "Black American" Culture is very unique in the world. But when they look in the mirror, them negros are Black, I don't care what they say. One of Haitian boys is lightskinned but his Dad is just as dark as me, lol.
This is more out of ignorance than arrogance. You have to remember, race was created through the slavery that occurred in America so their concept of race is totally different. When they say they aren't black, they aren't referring to their skin color. They are saying they aren't black American.
Now me on the other hand, if someone asks me what I am, I'm going to say I'm Haitian because I automatically assume you're asking me about my ethnicity b/c it's pretty obvious that I'm black. But if you ask me my race, I'll say African-American.

What's funny about those dominican nationalists is, that in all their hatred, stupidity and racism they are completely unable to understand that you simply can't implement laws retroactively. Yes, the DR is a sovereign country, but doing that violates every principle of the rule of law imaginable. So in essence, they can build all the metros, and expensive ass infrastructure projects they want, they are still demonstrating to the world that the country is nothing but a backwards banana republic, incapable of complying even with the simplest standards of a modern society. Laws can only be changed for the future, not for the past, otherwise you have anarchy, because nobody knows if what is legal today won't land him in jail or get him deported tomorrow. The fact that not even the dominican supreme court is capable of grasping this simple logic speaks volumes.

And as in almost every case of people complaining about Migration, the arguments against Haitians in the DR are completely irrational. The DR needs these migrants. They are cheap labour needed in agriculture and construction. That's why people like the Vicinis, who own the largest sugar production in the country have deals in place with dominican and haitian officials that allow then to smuggle haitians into the country. One of the best Postings you can get as a dominican Diplomat is ambassador to Haiti, because of all the bribes you will get for transit documents. The same is true for the dominican Border patrol. If dominicans want to improve their country, they should hold their fukking officials accountable, and stop the rampant corruption. They should stop selling their votes for tin roofs and salamis, yipetas and government jobs and stop applauding buffoons throwing money out of helicopters. They should ask their president and his cronies where all the fukking money comes from that they accumulated since 1996, hiw it is possible that the dominican airforce is transporting drugs, and where they money came from that paid for all the empty luxory skyscapers and malls in santo domingo. They should demand answers to how it was possible that the owner of one of the largest banks of the country stole all the fukking money in that bank, provoking a financial crisis when it had to be bailed out and then got away with a slap on the wrist.

Killing and deporting haitians is not going to change a god damn thing but distract these dumb asses from what they really need to do to rebuild their country.

It all started when Haiti colonized the other part of the island. Actually not really it really started when Dominican leaders wanted to antagonize Haiti/Haitians for colonizing them. Remember Dominican Rep got their independence from Haiti. DING! DING! DING! The root of the problem is there.

Why do you say you're African American instead of Haitian American?
