While there is a very small possibility that he descends from Tainos, most of them were killed off by the Spaniards when they got to DR. Which is why I everytime I hear someone claim Taino ancestry. Hell, I can't even trace my ancestry past my grandparents, let alone 500 years ago. It's just another tool used to deny our blackness.
