I will say the one time I watched Mac was the national title game and it was the angle from behind the QB so you can see the passes better and who’s open and who’s not.

It wasn’t just guys running wide open he was dropping some impressive dimes down the field into tight coverage.

I was more impressed then I thought I’d be.

If the 9ers do take Jones I’d bet on either his career being the most fruitful of the top QBs taken along with Fields/Lance if ATL gets them

This makes sense if the Niners are drafting Lance. I can't imagine they'd do this trade now if it was for Fields, as he hasn't even had his pro day yet.

Makes sense for the Fins too. They were likely taking Sewell/Pitts/Chase at 3 anyway. They move down to 6, and will still likely have their pick of two of the three players mentioned. With additional picks AND getting that player cheaper because they'll be paid as the 6th pick rather than the 3rd.

If I had to choose right now, I think they go Pitts. Then Najee with the 18th pick, and draft a slot guy like Toney with their early 2nd rounder.
