Tunsil Parker and Harris fell to us. I think Austin Jackson was a reach and a pick of need rather than talent.

i don’t think Parker was projected to go much higher than where we took him.
As for Tunsil he’s the only one I could think of. Mincah Fitzpatrick went right around where he was projected to go
i don’t mind chase/pitts either my preference is Sewell but if we grab a lineman in the 2nd I’m good also...but I think we are better off taking Sewell 1st and grabbing another WR in the 2nd.
One thing I didn’t like in the trade with the Eagles is trust we specified which pick we owed them. I would have just left it at “a first round pick “ , period. That way we get to choose which pitch pick(the lowest) we give them.
But the Eagles demanded they get Miami’s pick essentially betting that the 49ers will finish higher in the standings meaning the Dolphins pick will be higher.

Shanahan ideally wants guys with more mobility IMO. Though I guess he did like Kirk Cousins and had success with Matt Ryan.
But the ideal would be a Steve Young, John Elway, Jake Plummer, RG3 realm of athlete.
Plus I really can't see Mac Jones being worth traded ALL that for.
As for reads, Shanahan's offense defines reads pretty well. It's not some Bruce Arians or Kevin Gilbride type offense.

The thing about Waddle is that he's kinda repetitive to Will Fuller who they just got with them being deep threats. Even though Waddle is more explosive with him being able to make big plays from short receptions.
