15 seasons without a division title.

23 without a playoff win.

24 without a road playoff win.

31 without 12 wins.

31 without an AFC title game appearance.

39 without a Super Bowl appearance.

50 without a Super Bowl.

Yes it's hard being a fan of this team but I still love em.

The bright side is, Mcdaniel has promise
, but he's got a lot to learn. I can't tell you the last coach to get us to the playoffs in back to back seasons. So I guess I gotta look at that as a good thing.

Just gotta give it time and hope our defense doesn't get decimated again next yaer. We were down to practice squad guys on the Dline and secondary in this game and still almost pulled it off. O well

You think we’re going to be down to practice squad guys two years in a row?

Also football was better when everything wasn’t boiled down to shytty low iq espn style hottake.

We improved our win total, made the playoffs two years in a row, hand a strangle hold on the division until we got decimated injuries. Had one of the best defenses in football before we got decimated by injuries. No sane person is burning down the building after our past two season. wtf is wrong with yall? :heh:

I like talking football on here but so many of you don’t seem to not understand professional sports at all. You also seemingly have no understand of the history of Dolphins football.

I've seen people on here say we need to dump our pro bowl QB, we need to fire our head coach, we need to burn down the building and start over. It's been two fukking years... TWO YEARS. We've made the playoffs in both. No one is getting fired after that. No one is getting dropped as a QB after putting up Tua's numbers. Y'all are delusional.

Hard Rock Stadium(back then it was called Joe Robbie) was built over an Tequesta Indian Burial ground. Right there in Carol City/Lake Lucerne/Miami Gardens. :hubie:

Phins had a GOAT tier squad back when the league first started blowing up- and that's the literal only thing keeping them from being a downtrodden, miserable organization like the Browns or Lions

I'm 34 I never seen them make a serious run once in my life, hell even the Jets make the conference championship sometimes

You can say that about a dozen teams though

No shade but the cowboys and niners haven’t done shyt since MC Hammer was the top rapper in the game. Yet they go into every year thinking “THIS IS THE YEAR :wow:

And it literally never happens :russ:
They’ve been to two SB and are about to go to third. Had they not been down to their 11th string qb last year they would’ve beat Philly. But you right about the cowboys, even though I got them winning a playoff game this year.

They failed to put a consistent roster around Marino to compete for SBs. He should have at least one maybe even more.

And the Drew Brees fiasco. Brees and Saban would have made some good runs.

“Look when the Miami Dolphins were going to sign Drew Brees, Drew was coming to Miami when I was the coach there. He was going to be the quarterback. That’s all we needed. We just went 9-7 and all we needed was a quarterback to be a playoff team. We were going to sign Drew Brees as a free agent. Dr. (James) Andrews operated on him and I went to Birmingham to see Dr. Andrews, and he said it’ll be fine. Our doctors failed him on the physical. (Drew) was there to sign with us. I actually made a deal with his agent that he wouldn’t tell anybody for 72 hours he failed his physical until New Orleans signed him. That’s how he ended up in New Orleans.

So, I decided right then when that happened that we don’t have a quarterback in the NFL, we’re not going to win. I’m getting out of here. I’m not staying here. I’m not going to be responsible for this. That doctor didn’t know his (rear end) from a handful of sand. Drew Brees plays 15 more years, wins a Super Bowl, goes to nine Pro Bowls. And we didn’t take him in Miami, where he wanted to go. Some things you can’t control. When we left there nobody understood why. Well that was why. There’s always a reason.”

Yea the whole Brees Saban era fukkery was the tipping point in this team being cursed lol. I remember scratching my head when I found out we passed on brees. And I have hated Saban ever since he left us after making all them garbage draft picks
