I've never been in a dollar store. If they're feeding more folks than Whole Foods, then what kind of real food is in there besides snacks and frozen dinners? They have vegetables and fruit, bread, meats, etc.? Or even hot foods and a deli?
Why even compare it to whole foods as if that’s the standard store for average Americans? I make a good living and don’t even shop at Whole Foods due to there being better quality stores that cost less.
On the flip side I don’t shop at dollar stores either
Byproduct of the food deserts that are very common in low income areas.
It's one every 2 blocks down here.
I did read the other day where they are going to start trying to implement fresh foods in their stores.
