There was always white sound engineers due to who the studio owners were, but..

I noticed the rise of white beatmakers around early to mid 2000's when i was a member of rapmusic & future producers forums (Soundclick era). A lot of their music didn't have any soul or feeling to it (obvious reasons). Music used to sound like you were in a horror movie with their dungeon beats.

Then at one point, they started to receive placements on albums and tv shows

Rappers dont even have the sense to put your man on anymore. They dont care to create employment for their own people anymore.

These cats want cac dollars so bad from cac sales so they brought them into the recording process to appeal to a larger audience and failed to manage things.

I remember an article about how Black set designers and graphic designers for music videos and magazines were eventually replaced by cacs..fukking shameful. Not because they're more talented, we know they're not but because of us selling out.

YO!!! I was just telling my cousin about this yesterday cause I was playing to "Top 50" rap songs on a stream and we were like ALL this shyt sound the same

Then I started looking at the credits of the songs and shyt is being produced by Scandinavian dudes from Finland, Norway, others from Eastern European countries and I was like all this shyt is wack as hell now. Nobody is spittin and its people from different regions having the same sound. Dudes from Cali, NYC, Miami, etc. all have identical sounds

That's cause them foreign dudes can't make an authentic sound, its going to sound like an imitation of something else then they all copy each other and the rappers follow alongside, if every beat is the same all the flows gonns be the same
