I used to smoke a lot of kush, but i used to feel that same way before i started smoking..It might have gotten worse during my smoking years

Hmm... I will say that the distant past definitely seems surreal. I was looking at myself smiling as a kid with a ninja turtles toy and thought to myself "I have no context or memory for this day"

You just stop giving them attention. Any memory that made the transition from short-term to long-term (only takes 30 seconds) is forever stored in your brain. Whether you recollect them is an issue in itself.

Most of my past is surreal to me once I focus in on a specific event. Vivid as hell. I can remember weather, smells, etc.

Kind of, as I feel SO disconnected from it. I've had several "breaks" in my life, drastic changes so there is no continuity in my life, I've had to start over like 3 or 4 times so when I remember certain things it feels like it's someone else because it's in a place/with people I have no connection with whatsoever now.

Life goes by quick, savor every moment and seize the opportunity. I'm 33, I still remember what i wore the first day of school AND my haircut game was off lol. I got homies and family who died young, and when I look at a nicca who died at 17, and now we 33-34, this nicca been dead near 20 years.
