Both had original runs from 97-03 and of course were the two biggest stars of the Attitude era, but with The Rock coming back does this second run put him over SCSA as the GOAT?

Yes or No?

I'll say yes.
Broke the all time WWE PPV record, live gate, won the WWE championship after 10 years, and probably the biggest reason i'll say yes is because he doesnt even need to seeing as how he is one the top hollywood stars earning more than 12 mil a film.

Austin hit the WWE with the defibulator that allowed Rock the opportunity to do any of the shyt he is doing.

:comeon: I could say the same thing about Hogan, plus Rock & Austin both got hot right around the same time so that's debateable

Record wise, I could entertain the argument. He's definitely got a case.

IMO, I'd say hell no because from an entertainment perspective, he keeps dropping a little bit for me because I don't find him as entertaining as I did when I was 14.

If anything this stuff he's done over the last 2 years has sullied his legacy... aside from the very first night he returned and did the fruity pebbles promo on cena... his shet hasnt even been close to what he was doing before he left.

This rocky is like your favorite rock band having a reunion tour just so u can take your kids to see them play live... its cool and everything but it doesnt add to there legacy as artists.

That's why I put it there. I didn't want to make the statement like it's a fact. Just my observation with my opinions in mind. Guarantee it will start something though :heh:

You could say the same about Hogan, but WWE was in actual trouble with WCW, & that without Austin vs McMahon nobody who have been watching. It's not a knock on Rock but he'll never be considered as greater than Austin, unless you just are completely irrational about anything to do with Rock.

Entertainment is subjective, numbers and records aren't
