He’s right.
The average person don’t have it no better, we spend more time at work than we do at home.
Balance is the best way to handle it, but it’s not the cure all answer either. Your kids are gonna come to their own conclusions and feel how they feel, there is no perfect solution.
Also, your kids don’t have to hate you for them to have resentment, and as we know people will always have something to feel a way about. We’re all someone’s kid, and we’ve all been mad at our parents for some shyt that was beyond their control.

life is about balances, kids won't understand the sacrifices his making for financial gains
they see other kids with their fathers all the time who are not well off

you have to find a way to be in their lives everyday, make calls, get on facetime or whatever and set aside certain days to be there physically.
Kids grow up breh. They’ll appreciate it later. It’s no different than the hundreds of other things your parents did for you that you don’t even recognize they did until you yourself are an adult or a parent yourself.

He's so full of shyt. Kids need a human father, not the 11th million dollars when they already have ten. He's literally just pursuing his own greed and using "fatherhood" as a weak crutch to excuse being a terrible father.

i don't know why anyone is bringing up lebron and kobe as examples. they're pro athletes. they have months of off-season where they have all kinds of time. hell, even during the season. and most of those dudes can bring their kids to work with em if they want to when they're practicing and playing at home. who travels more than baseball players? ken griffey jr was with his old man all the time. kobe was always with his pops. the examples are countless in all sports.

no, the real examples are the dudes working 10 and 12 hour shifts and coming home exhausted everyday. steven a has always been a bigmouth piece of shyt to me. wouldn't surprise me at all to find out he's most likely not a very good father.

Meh...

An overlooked fact of life is, theres a number of guys in this world that would rather be at work than to be home with their wife/kids.

To be rich and use the excuse of trying to get richer to say you dont give a damn about your kids resenting you is sucker shyt imo.

You're worth 10s of millions. You already provided like a motherfukk. Go and spend more time your kids SAS.:stopitslime:
Exactly. You could stop working right now and your kids would never miss a meal. This is about you and your ego and your goals...which is fine but dont try to use your kids and providing as cover for that shyt.

Providing is wonderful and necessary but it aint all there is. We see rich kids wild out all the time. Kids need time and attention too. What good is all the money if they dont know you or want anythjng to do with you in 20 years?

What he’s saying is factual and would apply to most working men. But he's made more than enough money for his kids to be set, he could cut his work hours in half and still be a millionaire. He's addicted to what he does, same with skip bayless, but skip admits he ignores his wife for work lol.

There's no guarantees in life especially when it comes to people. But missing all ya daughters practices and games at school just cause you were out tryna earn the bag. Then pop up at her graduation with a paid for whip. High chance y'all relationship will still be shytty.

Guaranteed that little girl would've preferred having her dad there when it mattered most

Reducing the mans role to a check is hood logic lol.

+Breh is the highest-paid employee at ESPN. He's worth like 24 million according to Google. His kids aren't starving, he's just greedy.

nikka acting like his family skip meals to pay the bills. This man is making 7 figures in a bad year. We all know men who make a fraction of that and still are around to take care of their families....he just don't want to be around his family. Real men are honest with themselves.
