with all these failed spin offs like the VR game and Lego game, the remaster flopping and Forbidden West not doing as well as they hoped, does Sony overestimate how popular the Horizons franchise really is? they seem to think it's some franchise cash cow or house-hold name, but do gamers really care about the Horzion games like that? :ohhh:

They need to pick better release dates for the main titles in the series, but it's solid.

Both games sold 33 million copies combined despite releasing next to much bigger and better games so maybe they need to keep doing what they’re doing

As of April 16, 2023, the Horizon franchise has sold through more than 32.7 million units worldwide, of which Horizon Forbidden West has sold through over 8.4 million units. Millions more around the world have discovered Horizon thanks to PlayStation’s subscription services and initiatives, including PlayStation Plus, and Play at Home. All told, it’s a milestone we never imagined possible twenty years ago when we first started making games.

I'm not the biggest fan of the franchise, but this is a terrible take
Think about how horizon plays and the missions and shyt like that, the overall world

And you telling me that’s far off from the assassins creed Egypt Greek Viking games?

To keep it real, the combat in assassins creed was better
