They lost because the messaging was poor.

Kamala had a plan to address the cost of goods, specifically groceries but she let Trump pull her into his bullshyt and she let that policy basically take a backseat
Kamala and the dems have had office for 4 years. 2 of those with the house and senate. What was stopping their plan?

Bruh I'm not trying to convince you to be a dem or something, I honestly don't care. I'm just saying part of her agenda was to control price gouging, she was at least aware of the problem. I don't think Trump even cares about that.

The problem is you believe that prices are going to drop to pre pandemic levels because the a conman said so.

Thats now how inflation works.

I never said that prices will drop to pre-pandemic. But it's insulting to the average person to say "The economy is doing great" when everyone is struggling. That's the messaging the Dems have failed since 2022 when inflation really went sky high. They kept reporting how the numbers were great and if you didn't believe in the numbers you're too stupid.

Some of y'all just can't see this objectively. Kamala and the Dems keep saying everything is fine when everone is struggling. Ya'll can't see why that would cause voters to stay home? It ain't even about Trump, he got 4 million votes less than 2020. But Kamala got 18 million less votes. People just didn't show up cause they don't fukking trust that BS they're spewing.

THE OBJECTIVE MEASURING WAS WRONG! People in the Bay Area for example have been saying for years that crime is underreported. Oakland literally only has 35 cops on the street at any given moment in a city of 400k. How can anyone trust the official numbers if we know there is no way in HELL the numbers are being reported correctly?
Are you implying that if statistics were off one time, that throws out the importance of all statistics?

What do you think was closer to accuracy, that statistic that was off, or a random dudes personal vibe.

Trump for example said illegals were killing 100,000 people a year. Turns out it's actually 29 a year. Someone is wayyy off and I think it's Trump

There was an article on The Atlantic that talked about why she was told to stop doing that.

This part we agree on, they didn't do a good job of explaining the state of the economy and why consumers are still seeing high prices. They didn't explain their plan to reduce it as well. They glossed over it in the debate like an afterthought, when honestly this should have been the focal point of her rallies and campaign

I voted for her. But this stuff is why they got smoked in the swing states. “It’s all roses everythings booming” telling folks they aren’t actually experiencing what they are experiencing. While giving free food and housing and healthcare to every illegal that’s crossed the border ignoring the everyday citizen. Then wondering after the fact what went wrong and “why are folks ignoring the good economy” tweets and threads like this is the issue in the first place :dead:

I reject this notion that we have to appeal to dumb ass every-man-complaints all the time.

Social media is making yall think the sky is falling. We have videos going viral of soccer moms bytching about the cheapest gas and eggs in a generation.

Dems need to actually start telling people to smarten the fukk up. You can’t come crawling on your knees to every voter.

Democrats are afraid to tell people GOOD news.

Here’s the facts, things are good, wages are up, the economy is soaring. Buck up and enjoy these gains.
Say shyt like this then cry when you lose :mjlol::mjlol:

I posted the Twitter link screenshot in another thread. The article was behind a paywall. But it said her brother-in-law who works for some huge company. Told her to stop demonizing rich people.

I thought she stopped talking about price gouging due to Fox News complaining. But it turns out she got terrible advice at every turn during her campaign.

Politicians of both parties make pivots all the time, but Republicans are masters and being shameless and disgusting about it.

The tweets are right. When Obama inherited the recession and recovery took long, Republicans blamed the economy problems on Obama for the economy not recovering fast enough. Even though it was the worst financial crash since the Great Depression and Republicans blocked legislation that would have added more jobs and helped with a faster recovery.

Once the economy finally did get good, particularly during the last 2 years of Obama's term, Republicans shyt on it and claimed the economy was still awful. Once Trump was suddenly sworn in, these same dikkheads made a complete pivot overnight and proclaimed it the greatest economy ever for the next 3 years.

They are going to do it again. They've been shytting on the economy this entire term while coining the phrase "Bidinflation" even though they secretly know numbers wise the economy is great. When Trump is sworn in again, they will magically talk about how great the economic numbers are and blame Biden for the inflation. Even 2 years from now if inflation is still a problem, or get worse if Trump does stupid shyt like tariffs again, they will blame Biden. If the economy crashes, they will say it wasn't Trump's fault. If inflation gets better, its because Trump single handedly fixed it.

This country is held hostage by the uneducated and simple minded who don't know anything and just go off vibes. They elected Trump on vibes.
