Just cause you make more than minimum wage doesn't mean you make enough
That's just how much you make per hour. If you don't get enough hours or ain't significantly above minimum wage, then you can pretty much be making the same amount of money per year

The minimum wage is referenced because its the federal standard. Of course no one is making exactly $7.25, but there is states that are making a little more that is still struggling. I feel if you increase the standard, the state have no choice but to go up.So why did you reference the minimum wage?!
They are probably getting maybe dollar or a few cents more depending on profession, but grocery prices have increased in these areas.
Minimum is basically outdated and should be raised.
