The Bulls never had to deal with the prospect of a dude hitting 30 foot threes with a PF that could also stretch the floor accompanied by two guys on the wings that hit nearly 40% of them as well. That was a completely foreign concept and just assuming they'd be able to deal with it is crazy. Rodman did not have guard like lateral quickness when he played for the Bulls, he was in his mid 30s bruh, he was quicker than the average PF at the time but he wasn't approaching guards. Also, we saw Anthony Davis, someone with incredible athleticism, length and mobility get absolutely destroyed when he had to guard Curry on switches, Rodman wouldn't do any better if he got caught on an island with him.

Nevermind the fact the Bulls didn't hit enough threes :ld:

i know you can actually start to understand what i meant the whole time..

pride wont let you show it.. but you get it now.. it was never about the better palyer or rebounder but the match up problem.
:sadbron:

okay.

even though drayond green's entire defensive worth is exactly what I'm describing. the ability to go 4 out 1 in, defend the stretch bigs and rebound at a high rate

but what do i know :skip:

Somewhere Kenny Smith is smiling that someone indirectly compared him to Curry.

Plenty of teams have had high percentage three point shooters, none of them had Curry as well.
lol plus kenny a PG... not a stretch 4 or 5.. its not even a good comparison...

Of course not, but the idea that a team with a stretch floor and good wing shooters was "foreign" to the Bulls is simply untrue.

Look at what you bolded, the first thing I said literally referenced Curry since he's the dude hitting 30 footers. :ld:

Did they ever deal with that combination I said? :jbhmm:

not really.. their is not that many stretch centers in the league..

he has a pretty unique situation when he goes 5

so far OKC, CAVS and Spurs are the only ones i see who can match that line up. edit.. heat with bosh at the 5

LOL come on man that's silly. Nobody in history has dealt with that. Are we saying they're unbeatable now?
The Bulls didn't deal with Curry, but they did deal with the Dream.:wow:
I'd say that's about even.:ehh:

Anyone arguing that the Bulls would get run off the floor by a team that got taken to 6 games by Delly, JR and Moz "supporting" Bron is just as wrong as anybody saying the Bulls would run the Warriors off the floor.

It's not a matter of whether or not he can guard Draymond, it's the fact that Draymond pulls your big away from the rim and gets them involved in PnR situations with Curry. How can Rodman guard Draymond when he's probably going to switch or trap Curry?

The whole purposes of having a dude like Draymond or Love or any of these stretch 4s is that they get your defense into uncomfortable rotations.
Those Mike led Phil Jax coached teams wouldn't fall into the trap of trying to run Green off of the the 3 point line. I don't think Pop's Spurs would either. Smart teams would force Green to beat them from the 3 point line. You trap Curry and close out on Green playing him for the drive and kick.

The game has always been about execution breh:beli: did you see Rodzilla in his younger days? His D and rebounding were game changers

Exactly and his basketball IQ was just as good or even better than Greens. He wasn't a good scorer but even on the offensive end Rodman made plays because his IQ was so good.

Dude was one of the best passing forwards in the game. Dude was dropping dimes with the spurs and bulls even though he had changed his game to be a great rebounder.

Exactly and that is really what the Cavs did until Kerr went with Iggy at the PF position. Plus the Cavs ran out of gas.
