I'm not saying you're wrong, but my thing is, how the hell are we getting mad at dude for "jacking" anything if we don't take advantage of the situations ourselves (btw, is he black, mixed, mexican?)?Been said this. Dude is a scam artist. He’s a culture biting mediocre wannabe Black ass.
He gets a pass because he does a semi decent impersonation of James Brown but at the core of it, dude is average at best.

All I hear from our R&B artists is fukkin, smoking, eating ass, breaking up, and partying...who's fault is it for not snapping out of the bullshyt and coming up with dope concepts?
This and my question is how come black Pop/RnB artist aren't doing this? His main co-writer is black, his band is black, and he pays homage to black music, he's cool with me
Yeah, that's kinda what I was getting at. The R&B songs have trap beats (or maybe I should say they have hiphop drum patterns) and the subject matter is damn near the same as rap nowadays. There's a lack of musical talent. That's what I mean when I say who's fault is it that our R&B artists aren't thinking outside the box and coming up with new, dope concepts? Its not so much that they are signing about its the fact they move like rappers and less like R&B singers their is no range in vocals no high notes no break downs or bridges
