I have Asthma, the only times it really bothers me is during hard physical activity or if my allergies are really bad, I use an inhaler everyday to prevent symptoms and then I have a rescue inhaler if I need it.

1st Round Playoff Exits
After i got hurt i tried everything to rehab. I tried boxing walking and running, yoga, lifting weights, but none of it truly helped. then this year i started doing the chinese martial art Xingyiquan. It cured me. If you suffer still i highly recommend seeking out instruction in that, Baguazhang, or Taijiquan. Seriously game changing
Bro your story is beyond amazing.

Especially the part about realizing who your friends are.

A study I remember reading up on just crossed my mind. Idk how you feel about PEDs, but do you think Anabolic-androgenic Steroids(AAS) could have helped aid in your recovery?

There's a dope study I came across randomly a couple months back, that might be worth reading in your spare time. It's about fairly recent post stroke victims(4-32 weeks), whom further suffered from a motor deficit that inhibited their non-paretic limb.

Through muscle strength training (mst) and the use of AAS, pateints were able to make gradual improvements, relatively quickly(2 weeks), while showing no signs of side effects after short term clinical trial ceased(6 weeks).

I'm asking because, lowkey I'm down to see steroids legalized in a "clinical setting". I see no reason for steroids to be largely blacklisted, when it can literally work as a catalyst to recovery. Judging by lack of physiological human studies done on this subject, I'd say it's damn near taboo across the scientific community. :pacpsit:

You know I dont particularly ascribe to the more esoteric notions of Qi.... But I do think that there is something very sensible and wonderful about the taoist overview of how the mind, spirit, and body come together to make who we are. When I met my grandteacher Ping Zhen Cheng (a sun style lineage holder and a master of various methods of neigong and tibetan yoga), he told me that the true essence of neigong and martial arts training was not truly about cultivating Qi or preserving Jing, but about realizing and optimizing your Shen and learning your true nature. That that is the nature of post-heaven training, to make yourself more YOU. I don't quite get the more metaphysical aspects of this stuff yet experimentally, but the journey is great.

Word I know we disagree on Qi but son when I was in Massage Therapy School a year before my accident, I had a teacher who taught us alittle bit in Qi power. He asked me to lay down and the students in my class would gather around me and grab my arms and legs, one would touch my head and I would touch my heart. He told us to breath deeply and think nothing but positive things about the person on the table( myself) and I had to also create a positive out-let. With-in about 5 to 6 mins of deep breathing and meditation, I felt massive flow of energy in my feet that reached all the way up to my neck. The energy was powerful where I couldn't stop smiling, I felt great, my lungs were open and expanded, my heart was like :whoo:

I went home and hours later the energy was still there and I couldn't stop smiling...I was feeling like nothing could bother me....nothing. I recommend to try that experience. Son shyt was real...thats on everything I love.

I have eczema. Used to be real bad when i was younger, one day my skin was so dry it cracked with movement. I had to drink mineral oil to help. Its an autoimmune disease they say but ive learned mine is activated by environmental conditions; pollution & household chemicals. Peace to all those struggling with chronic conditions.

@Serious if i had the ability to tqke HGH or AAS for the injury i would have.
@thekingsmen ive had similar feelings a couple times from doing the more 'secret' qigong set from the Tang shou tao system. you might be able to find footage or an article of them out there. its called hundred hands stepping, pulsing, and stone drop neigong respectively. unfortunately i have noooo idea what the chinese names are for them. unfortunately its not something i can recreate without help from my teacher. i dont know about overly positive though. it felt more like lightning, really allert.

my mom was diagnosed with MS a while ago.
she had numbness on the left side of her body and the left side of her face was drooping down.

she found out years later that she did not have MS and the symptoms were most likely caused by stress....shyt was crazy.

:dwillhuh: :wow:

I got a friend whose pop suffered from debilitating back spasms for like 6-7 years. His pop even had serious injury where his back seized up while taking a shower and he fell and bust his head wide open....Ish even happened while he was driving...

His pop went to see specialists all over the country, and they still could not get to the root of the issue. All he would do would take a muscle relaxer when the shyt hit the fan......This was going on for 7 years but stopped all of a sudden when he started taking a certain medication.....

What was that medication?

Antidepressants.......Go figure :manny:
