I only have like 4 DVDs left 3 of which are Chris Rock hobo stand up specials and the other is terminator 2 special edition DVD. I got rid of the rest over the past 2 yrs. I hadn't bought a DVD in like 8-9 yrs. I have never owned a blu ray player or blu ray disc. For a moment there I thought about buying a blu ray player when I get my new TV in the next few days but real talk I've decided against it. I'm done buying movies. I will however finally get Hulu and Netflix once I move next week. I just need to figure out how to get them on my TV rather than my laptop
nikka I still got some VHS tapes. Haven't played em in years, but I got em.
It's kinda like how I didn't replace my iPod after it got stolen from my car. Pandora, Youtube, music channels on TWC: I don't feel the need to "own" particular titles that I have to rifle through. I just look for my genre/time period.
That Netflix/Hulu/Prime life got me not watching cable. Even Youtube holds me down for HOURS.
Fukc a stack of hard copies.
I watch more YouTube than tv nowadaysEven Youtube holds me down for HOURS.

Yea I'm finally going to get Netflix and Hulu...I'm just not sure how it works how do you get it on your TV?
You gotta have an Internet connect.. of course. Right now I have a laptop sitting next to a $300 smart TV with a hard wire. I use the TV as the monitor. Full screen internet goodness all day.
Alot of TVs now have an ability to surf the web. A lil more annoying than the desktop schema.
Breh if you're getting a new tv its guaranteed to be a smart tv with the apps built in.OK I'm getting a new TV for my living room, so I'm going to have to look into that
