Nah, I have a few HD DVD
It does but when I hooked it up it didn't work. So I said fukk it & started watching Netflix. I don't have time for that

nikka I still got some VHS tapes. Haven't played em in years, but I got em.
It's kinda like how I didn't replace my iPod after it got stolen from my car. Pandora, Youtube, music channels on TWC: I don't feel the need to "own" particular titles that I have to rifle through. I just look for my genre/time period.
That Netflix/Hulu/Prime life got me not watching cable. Even Youtube holds me down for HOURS.
Fukc a stack of hard copies.

I still cop CD's......
Only time I cop a Blu-Ray is if the BR has
special features that the DVD doesn't have.

Gave all my collection up, last one being Thundercats Season 1. I have 2 blu ray movies, Batman the dark knight and Transformers the animated movie. Will buy Superman vs Batman directors cut. I don't like physical media outside of video games.
You gotta have an Internet connect.. of course. Right now I have a laptop sitting next to a $300 smart TV with a hard wire. I use the TV as the monitor. Full screen internet goodness all day.
Alot of TVs now have an ability to surf the web. A lil more annoying than the desktop schema.
Breh if you're getting a new tv its guaranteed to be a smart tv with the apps built in.
If its somehow not buy a roku
