I used to get mad when the bad guys would line up to get their arm, neck, throat snapped/ripped. If they bum rushed him from the jump he would have been in 1 movie.

Oh yeah, the last bad guy in almost every movie was a 62 year old man that would get their whole ass kicked trying to square up and not shoot him.

His filmography in the early days was solid

Above the Law
Hard to Kill
Marked for Death
Out for Justice
Under Siege
On Deadly Ground
Under Siege 2
Executive Decision
The Glimmer Man
Fire Down Below

That was from 1988 - 1997

Exit Wounds and Half Past Dead were straight. Early 2000s.

I ain't seen shyt after that
This pretty much...i mean back in the day when you are like 12 any of his movies were perfect for a friday night rent :manny:

I like Under Siege but I can't remember anything else he was in by name so:yeshrug:

TBH, the names all kind of run together. Almost all of them are formulaic adjectival phrases describing Seagal's character in that particular film, built for glib taglines. "Steven Seagal is" (insert one of the following):

Above The Law
Out For Justice
Under Siege
Hard to Kill
Marked For Death
On Deadly Ground

You can tell the exact moment his career dropped off, because he started appearing in films with straight nouns in the title. Whereas in the glory days, Steven Seagal was Out For Justice/Hard to Kill/etc., Steven Seagal was none of the following:

The Glimmer Man
Fire Down Below
Exit Wounds
Executive Decision
