Yea that's what I mean like when they first got popular, up until they retired
Austin was a top heel in WCW bro.
Yea that's what I mean like when they first got popular, up until they retired
Injuries forced Austin to call it quits. I feel you though.and didn’t fukk up their legacies by performing when & obviously need to call it quits
when you have talent that transcends past wrestling you wont need to have a 20+ career and rely on just wrestlingLike undertaker, Hogan, Cena, Shawn Michaels, ric flair, etc all had long careers, with Cena and Hogan also being on top for most of their career. But Austin and rock both had a what 6-7 year career, if that, with both only having like 3 years at the top. Yet they accomplished so much and the 2 best to ever do it. It's like they came and went
Thank you for getting what I was saying and not playing stupid. I agree with this post"Stone Cold" Steve Austin's career was basically 96-01 and 4 months in 2003. That's what OP is talking about when he mentions Rock and Austin's WWE careers.
But ditto, they did a lot in a short amount of time, made everything they did count, didn't hog the titles for a long time with a dearth of actual entertainment, and were done before than crowds got tired of them, though the Rock almost got that, but only due to him starting his movie career and people knowing he wasn't fully focused on the WWE. Two of the greatest to ever do it, in the greatest era, and didn't wear out their welcome like other legends who came before them.
He's talking about when they became megastars not their entire career, SCSA and Rock both they both had 3-4 years of being top draws and making a ridiculous amount of millions. SCSA was making 10mil a year and that started in 98.Austin had a career spanning about 12-13 years. Amazing what they were able to accomplish in such a time. Austin hasn't wrestled in nearly 20 years but still eating off that attitude era run. The Rock? Don't even get me started on him!
Absolutely. The shyt he accomplished in his rookie year is fukking ridiculousShort careers but massive impact.
I'd add Brock in there too somewhat. Only had a 2 year full time run in the beginning and look how his career panned out.
yup and the boom period of wrestling died when they retired. They both had the power
