Meg can rep better than Doechii

They both have grating wack vocal tonality. That makes them a hard sell..Meg at least in interviews in a dope cool ass girl.
This chick.

Can't rap frfr.

It is a fukkin rappity tik tok troll rap joke on being an emcee in hiphop.
She never says shyt that is dope ever.

Oh and I tried.

I really tried with this bullshyt.

This is like those wack ass rappers theta used to sing and shyt back in the day. That were really rnb and then became neo soul and tried to flip and bounce it like neo soul is hiphop and neo soul is not hiphop.

That whole gateway is still wack sellout and when it comes down to hiphop culture and having knowledge of self. When held to the fire culturally they wilt and melt.

This artist is one of those cultural try hard toys that never resonated with nobody and was annoying as fukk.

This chick is a troll toy ass joke.

All this fringe gateway safe cartoon rap shyt been played back in 91. Then the prison industrial economy review back up Das efx they want wfx in April 1993. So it is like this is the same type of beat a dead horse styles war slash she ra meets Dr octagon with neo soul Mish mash house rnb type bullshyt.

They can keep this tiktok troll joke on loop artist.

I don't fukk with her views on black men but I think it's interesting that people see something they don't see often anymore - a label working an album for months instead of days, a 2011-style touring blueprint that has elevated her from small clubs to bigger venues, management that is constantly taking easy Ws by using print media (fashion mags) to get covers, etc etc etc - and instead of saying "why don't we see this more" the reaction is "this is too much, she's a plant."

This is how artists used to blow up. Slow progressive building of name ID, building a fanbase, dope projects that last, etc. You know who is still doing this? White artists and management. Sabrina Carpenter, Chappel Roan, Billie Eilish...the new class of (white) superstars have been getting the same push Gaga and others once got and nobody says a thing. A black artist starts doing it and it's a conspiracy.
:mjlol:

You should be asking why labels are fine letting black artists go viral off pumping a video/song, dropping a wack project, and then doing the exact same thing a year later. Over and over while diminishing returns destroy their career until the next black microwave rapper arrives.

So what happens when she doesn't sell records or chart high but they're still trying to make it look like shes a superstar ? the names you mentioned do numbers. You are being disingenuous
:hubie:

If the numbers start matching her accolades and media sensation then i wont have shyt to say.

Her album has been selling very well for months fam. She's clearly on the path. If she flops after this then we'll have another convo.

They know why. These labels ain't trynna spend a dime on black artists. Just piggybacking off of them going viral.

Room For Improvement, Comeback Season, and So Far Gone were self-released mixtapes. Not the same as being fake indie:umad:
That don't mean shyt, by TheColi definition Drake is definitely a industry plant. There is more evidence to support Drake being one than Doechii too if you want to play that game. :umad:

Labels want fans to believe they discovered these artist organically. And they were coincidentally there from the beginning, to see the meteoric rise that happened 6 months to a year later:wow:.

Makes fans go harder believing they were apart of movement before it blew. But in reality there was no movement originally. Just more people gradually being made to check for an artist due to fake cosigns/narratives/awards. It's essentially the labels faking it,until the artist ACTUALLY makes it
This is my understanding of what an industry plant is. A fake grassroots come up with the label clandestinely behind the scenes pushing the artist.

What was the part of Doechii’s career where she was a plant? I don’t follow her at all. She gets pushed on Spotify radio a lot, that’s my experience with her.
