Bobby V is poisoned right now & the last thing the Yankees want is a PR circus. His reputation is kinda being ruined as a manager right now.

Highly doubt Girardi gets fired anyway because he's done what he can with this injury-riddled team. He's managed the bullpen kinda well, he's rotated the old guys as well as he can in the lineup & the starting pitching has been a mess most of the year. Nobody really out there to replace him anyway.
