Not confirmed, but it's still being heavily suggested she's the one. I guess she has stated herself she was in the running for it.

I like her energy and that it seems from her wardrobe and The Doctor's line about going back to the future means she is from sometime in the 1980s. it would be a nice twist on the same old modern day human girl aspect of the Companion.
I hope she's a companion that wants to learn from the Doctor and is glad to be there like

Missed out on the theatrical release, would be watching The Power of the Daleks on BBC American right now if not for NXT being on. I'll buy it or rent it from Amazon.

Peter Capaldi is leaving.
I have liked Capaldi's performance but I am cool with this. I felt the show needed an entire new cast to go with the new showrunner.

Capaldi was legit one of my favorite top 3 doctors besides Tennant and Tom Baker.... honorable mention to Matt Smith
I don't have the words. I don't wanna see Capaldi regenerate. It's been great having an actual STAN play the role. He put everything into it.

They got the first 50 episodes of the main range (which includes a nice chunk of Paul McGann/8th Doctor stories), 16 eps of McGann's line of stories, a couple of 4th stories, a few "Lost" stories (stuff that was written for TV, but was never used due to Colin Baker being fired/the show being cancelled).
I swore it wouldn't be my thing, but it's some REALLY great stuff in there. LOTS of stuff that the writers of NuWho stole for the revised show. Outside of a few albums, I've really listened to nothing else over the last few months.
Just.... stay away from the ones labeled ""Destiny of the Doctor". They aren't Big Finish audios, and ain't worth a damn.
